Guidelines for Corporate Sponsors who are interested to raise funds or organise events for TOUCH Community Services
Thank you for your interest to raise funds or organise events for the clients of TOUCH.
Here are some of our guidelines:
- Discussion: Please contact the Partnership Development team at Tel: 6377 0122 or email partners@touch.org.sg for a discussion. TOUCH will explore possible areas of partnership with you, according to our clients' needs.
- Venue: For events involving our elderly clients, please advise us if the venue is wheelchair-friendly.
- Transportation: To minimise unforeseen logistical situations, we would be grateful if you can arrange and provide the transportation for our clients for events held outside of our premises.
- Diet: We do have clients who have special dietary needs. In general, do try to ensure that all food and beverage are halal for our Muslim clients and families.
- Safety: As our clients include the frail elderly, young children and intellectually-disabled adults, safety is our utmost concern. TOUCH staff and volunteers will accompany our clients to the event. In some cases, we will need volunteers from your company to be assigned to specific client(s).
- Media management: Should your company wish to issue a press release or invite media to the event, please let us know early so we can check with the clients and their families for their agreement. Some may be media-shy. To confirm the accuracy of the information on TOUCH, kindly let us have a look at any press releases before they are issued.
- Use of TOUCH's name and logo: To ensure that TOUCH is represented correctly, all materials (print or electronic) that bear the name and/or logo of TOUCH must be approved by an authorised staff of TOUCH before it is produced or disseminated.
- Use of photographs or clients’ stories: We strive to respect the rights and privacy of our clients. Some may not wish their photographs or names to be used on your corporate materials (print or electronic). If TOUCH has given written consent for our photos to be used, kindly acknowledge the photo source in this way: "Photo credit: TOUCH Community Services © 2010". We appreciate your understanding.
