Home > CSR > School Partners
|School partners form a very important part of our volunteering pool and fund-raising efforts. TOUCH desires to reach out to this pool of student volunteers as they are our leaders of today, and starting them young in the area of serving and helping the less fortunate in our society would prepare them well. We are deeply appreciative of our school partners' support and commitment in our work in the community.||We recognise that teachers who coordinate community involvement efforts have heavy workloads and hectic schedules and thus, we try our very best to integrate our partnership into the school's calendar and learning goals. While meeting our organisation's needs for the clients' welfare, we also want to minimise the amount of coordination for the teachers whom we work with and to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with them.|
How you can participate
Support TOUCH’s Projects/Events
We invite schools to partner us in our annual events and projects, and serve the disadvantaged in the community together with us.
If your school is interested to partner us in future projects, please click here to find out more about our upcoming events or email us at email@example.com
Pre-School/Primary School Level
To support our schools’ framework for character education, TOUCH regularly collaborates with pre-schools and Primary Schools to organise value-driven programmes and talks for students.
The Giving Family is one of our ongoing school projects. Through a simple story, students are taught on how they can give generously as a family to help the needy clients TOUCH supports.
If you would like to find out more on The Giving Family programme, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Secondary/Post-Secondary Institution Level
TOUCH partners with students from Secondary or Post-Secondary institutions to participate in nationwide competitions, such as Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes.
Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes is a community initiative led by Citibank and the YMCA of Singapore. It promotes social entrepreneurship and community leadership involvement among Singaporean youths, as they transform their own self-initaited fundraising enterprise project into a reality. Proceeds raised go towards the various services and programmes under TOUCH.
Youth For Causes also complements the Values in Action programme under the Ministry of Education's Character and Citizenship Education. In this project, members in each youth team work closely together, sharing and upholding different responsibilities with the sole intention of how they can best serve the community.
More information of Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes 2016 can be found at www.youthforcauses.com or www.facebook.com/youthforcauses .

Tertiary students are encouraged to approach us for collaborative work, should they have any existing fundraising or social enterprise ideas in mind as part of their school curriculum or student interest groups.
If you are from a tertiary institution and would like to partner with TOUCH on your latest project, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
