TOUCH Community Services International (TCSI) was set up in 1999 to facilitate the delivery of crisis relief and community development services to communities outside of Singapore. We partner closely with local authorities and organisations of various countries in the areas of child adoption, volunteer engagement, community development and humanitarian and crisis relief. TCSI has initiated several crisis relief initiatives in countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Turkey and Pakistan and continues to work in some of these countries today. We are also actively engaged in several community development & capacity building projects in various parts of China.

Hope And Laughter Came Upon Mullaitivu, Sri Lanka
25 October 2005 - 21 youth volunteers from the Singapore Polytechnic Primers participated in a housing construction project initiated by TCS in the north eastern coastal town of Mullaitivu in Sri Lanka.

28 July 2005 - Executive Director of TOUCH Community Services, Mr Eugene Seow visited Sri Lanka to give away a second batch of fishing boats and three-wheelers to survivors of the tsunami.
100 Foreign Workers Here Benefited From Financial Help By TCSI
18 July 2005 - TCSI disbursed the third round of funds to 44 Indian foreign workers in Singapore. Their families were affected by the Tsunami. Each foreign worker received a sum of S$300.
Tools for Lives - Rebuilding Lives, Injecting Hope
24 June 2005 - Mr T Linton Dasa and his son received a new set of tools from TCSI to help them restart their refrigerator - servicing business again.
New Houses For Survivors Of Tsunami Disaster in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka
18 June 2005 - 23 youth volunteers from TCSI travelled to Batticaloa, Sri Lanka to help rebuild houses that were destroyed by the Tsunami together with homeowners and our friends from Habitat for Humanity.
TCSI Volunteers Join SAF Relief Team To Meulaboh, Indonesia
21 January 2005 - 11 volunteers led by Mr Jason Wong from TCSI set sail onboard SAF helicopter landing ship, RSS Endeavour, for Meulaboh. They joined about 50 other personnel and volunteers from various NGO.
Medical Teams sent to Sri Lanka
7 January 2005 - TCSI sends out the first medical response team to Ampara, Sri Lanka. The team treated more than 300 refugees in the various camps and shelters following the Tsunami in the first week.
