- Providing practical support and care for patients undergoing cancer treatment
TOUCH is the only local agency that administers the Patient Assistance Programme for Novartis Singapore, to provide the cancer drugs, Glivec and Tasigna, to patients with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia or Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumours.
We conduct financial assessment for all eligible patients, make recommendations for subsidies and ensure that all requirements are met for patients to continue in this programme. We provide care and support to these patients and their families through support group meetings and outings, and conduct regular home visits to check on their progress.
