TOUCH Cyber Wellness* is a pioneer in the field of cyber wellness education since 2001, and is supported by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, the National Youth Council and the Media Development Authority.
Partnering educators, parents and adults, we have reached out to over 720,000 individuals through CRuSH (Cyberspace Risks and where U Seek Help) and our one-stop resource centre - the PlanetCRuSH Cyber Wellness Centre, located at Bukit Merah.
We are also the key agency providing counselling services on cyber wellness issues.
Our programmes aim to:
- Educate teenagers on the potential hazards in cyberspace and inspire them to use the Internet in positive ways
- Provide youths and families with a positive experience with Internet-related activities and games
- Empower adults to mentor the young to harness the benefits of the Internet in a balanced manner
In 2011, TOUCH Cyber Wellness was awarded the Singapore Youth Award, the nation's highest youth accolade under the Community & Youth Services Team Category, in recognition of its commitment in encouraging holistic youth development through promoting cyber wellness, healthy gaming and online safety. The Award was presented by Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security & Minister for Home Affairs at the Istana.
