Volunteer to serve the Elderly
TOUCH Home Care
TOUCH Home Care (THC) provides home medical, home nursing and home rehabilitative services to help the frail elderly with mobility problems enjoy greater independence and better quality of life at home
We are now actively seeking for more volunteers to join us on our Meals-on-Wheels programme as THC expands to serve more elderly clients.
Meals-on-Wheels
Meals-on-Wheels is a meal delivery programme to meet the daily needs of the home-bound elderly. The elderly, who usually live alone, depend on volunteers from TOUCH Home Care's Meals-on-Wheels to deliver their meals every day.
JOIN us now, if you are available from 10am to 12.30pm or 4pm to 6.30pm, preferably once a week on weekdays or once a month on weekends (Note: We are currently seeking volunteers for weekdays). Distribution locations include Toa Payoh, Whampoa, Bendemeer, Geylang Bahru, Potong Pasir, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Jurong. We need both car-owners/drivers and delivery personnel. Generally, the work involves reporting to the TOUCH Home Care office to collect pre-packed food, and then driving along a designated route to deliver the food packages. For each delivery route, there will be one driver and assisted by a helper/runner.

Join Us as Character Coaches and Volunteers
Do you love children? If your answer is yes, we'd love to talk to you!
TOUCH Character Development (TCD), a service of TOUCH Community Services, is looking for character coaches and volunteers to impart values to and impact the lives of primary school children. Training will be provided.
Volunteers can contribute in any of these areas:

- Facilitate enrichment groups / assembly programmes / at-risk programmes (during office hours)
- Assist in character / at-risk programmes (during office hours)
- Befriend needy families
- Befriend and mentor children and teens
- Conduct tuition for at-risk students
- CIP - Preparation of props for programmes, data entry and coordination work (weekdays)

TOUCH Family Services
PREP (Primary School Readiness Programme), a service of TOUCH Family Services, is looking for volunteers with a passion for teaching and befriending less-privileged children - to inspire them to learn better and to grow holistically. Training and support will be provided.
Volunteers can contribute in these areas:
- Visiting a child weekly at his/her home to run educational CD-roms to improve a child’s academic abilities
- Sponsoring educational materials, e.g. 1 English Junior set: $319
- Conducting holiday programmes and activities
- Providing general assistance, e.g. administrative duties
