• Community Awareness Programme

  • Diabetes is on the rise in Singapore. Statistics show that one in three Singaporeans has a lifetime risk of getting diabetes. Therefore, there is an increasing need to educate the public about how to better manage diabetes and how to prevent it.

    Schools

TOUCH Diabetes Support works closely with schools to educate the younger generation about the importance of leading a healthier lifestyle. With the right knowledge and skillsets, the youth can be better informed about how to monitor and care for family members who are living with diabetes.

We hope to see more youths champion the issues pertaining to diabetes awareness.

    Community

TOUCH Diabetes Support also actively promotes diabetes awareness through public talks and events, in collaboration with external partners.

  • Support Groups

With the encouragement and support of others who have walked this journey, people living with diabetes will cope better as they talk to people who could understand their struggles. Those who have managed to keep their diabetes under control can serve as a good role model and an inspiration to those who are newly diagnosed with the condition or are facing difficulties in managing their health and life issues.
