Marriage Mentoring & Enrichment Programme (MMEP)

A strong marriage is more than simply loving the person you live with. To build a happy and fulfilling married life, it demands time, effort and commitment. TOUCH Family Life Education provides the following programmes that help couples lay a strong foundation for a life-long marriage:


Marriage Mentoring Programmes (MMP)

MMP provides couples with an intentional support environment, which is both life-skills learning and lifestyle modelling, with the objective to strengthen marriage relationships at various life stages. Participating couples are expected to select the relevant series from a basket of workshops or activities. Engagement period can be up to 18 months.

Languages of Apology

In marriage, apologies are essence to maintaining and healing marital relationships. All married couples need to learn how to apologize when one offends the other. Through this programme, couples will be taught the 5 elements of apology:

– Expressing Regret – “I am sorry”
– Accepting Responsibility – “I was wrong”
– Making Restitution – “What can I do to make it right?”
– Genuinely Repenting – “I’ll try not to do that again”
– Requesting Forgiveness – “Will you please forgive me?”

When couples apologise and practise forgiveness, they can experience healing in all their relationships.

Journey To Intimacy (JTI)

Dr. Huang Wei-Jen, an advisor in TOUCH Resource Panel, is a clinical psychologist and a faculty member at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Based on 30 years of empirical clinical researches, he developed and integrated a set of practical and interactive behavioral and experiential healing exercises in JTI. The course consists of 12 topics and aims to promote mutual understanding between couples, emotion management, healthy personality and so on.

Marriage Enrichment Programmes (MEP)

Marriage Enrichment Programmes for groups of married couples. The group can select the relevant series from a basket of workshops and/or activities. It can be part of a 4 hrs workshop or a One-Day (1D) programme or a Two-Days-One-Night (2D1N) stay-in programme or 3D2N stay-in programme.

To meet the needs of families and the community at large, Families for Life has introduced a new initiative, called FAMILY 365, to support and promote family life in the community and workplaces. The conduct of the programme is free of charge and covers the speakers’ fees as well as materials. TOUCH Family Services (TFS) is appointed as one of the Service Providers for FAMILY 365.
