TOUCH Community Services has been supportive of the arts in helping our clients express their feelings and perspectives. This is especially so for our clients with special needs, under TOUCH SpecialCrafts, an art platform under the TOUCH Centre for Independent Living that serves people with mild intellectual disabilities.
This year, TOUCH will be launching ‘TOUCH Giving Art’, a charity art exhibition that showcases the artworks of our special needs clients from TOUCH SpecialCrafts along-side those of professional artists. The event aims to show that Art can bring together a Giving Community and deliver positive impact in the lives of beneficiaries.
Previously known as ‘Art Gives back’, ‘TOUCH Giving Art’ will feature around 70 artworks which are available for purchase prior to and during the exhibition.
Through this charity art exhibition, we hope to raise S$250,000 which will go towards supporting the programmes of TOUCH in helping people with intellectual disabilities gain independence through daily living, personal, social and pre-employment skills training.
To pre-purchase the artworks prior to the event, kindly visit https://www.touch.org.sg/shop.
‘TOUCH Giving Art’ is open to the public and entry is free.
