Job Summary:
To work with caregivers towards peace of mind and freedom to live the life they aspire. This is done through partnership with caregivers, volunteers, and internal/external stakeholders to deliver programmes and services using a caregiver-centric approach.*Scope of Caregivers Support: Provide support to caregivers and families of older persons, persons with special needs and mental health conditions.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Programme development, implementation, and evaluation:
- Plan, publicise and conduct caregiver support programmes (e.g., talks & workshops, Carer Lighthouse, Care Line).
- Facilitate talks, workshops and group programmes in a strength-based and caregiver-centric approach
- Monitor attendance, collect feedback, and support impact evaluation to improve service quality.
- Foster a sense of community among caregivers through conducting peer support networks and social events.
- Continuous learning with the team through regular review of programs.
Caregiver Engagement & Support:
- Serve as a first point of contact for caregivers, providing information, referrals, and empathetic listening via Care Line.
- Conduct outreach to raise awareness of available services through community events and partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with caregivers and work with caregivers to achieve their aspirations
- Volunteer & Stakeholders engagement: Maintain strong relationships with the community, volunteers and internal stakeholders to deliver suitable programmes for caregivers.
- Liaise with corporate and school volunteers to implement ad-hoc events or regular activities for Caregivers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to achieve organisational goals.
- Recruit, train, and engage volunteers to support programme delivery.
3. Research & Content Integration:
- Conduct research on the latest cyber trends and digital behaviours to keep programme content current and relevant.
- Incorporate emerging technologies and creative approaches into educational and counselling initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community organisations, and industry experts to co-develop digital wellness initiatives.
5. Centre-Based Youth Engagement & Outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, schools, and community organisations to co-develop digital wellness initiatives and enhance youth engagement.
- Deliver engaging workshops and training sessions to promote digital wellness.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies to boost programme participation and ensure content accessibility.
- Represent the Digital Wellness Centre at public forums and events, championing cyber safety and mental health.
6. Youth-Centric Digital Wellness Environment
- Build supportive connections with young people within the centre, creating a nurturing space where digital wellness is central.
7. Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging issues in cyber wellness and mental health, using research insights to refine programme offerings.
- Identify opportunities for innovative practices that empower youths to make informed, healthy digital choices and drive societal change.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in youth programmes, mental health education, or related fields.
- Proven track record in programme development, counselling, and centre operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, youth, parents, and caregivers, with a strong commitment to working with youths.
- Experience as an MOE educator, particularly former cyber wellness coordinators.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms to support programme delivery.Familiarity with data-driven programme evaluation and setting measurable outcomes.
- Strong skills in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations and other visual training materials.
- Additional certifications or training in digital literacy, mental health, or related fields.
