About the Activity

JOURNEY is a brand under TOUCH Community Services that represents the creative talents of people with intellectual disabilities. Through this platform, the artwork of artists with special needs from TOUCH are recognised.

JOURNEY is committed to making a sustainable future. As part of United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), our platform aims to promote a sustained, inclusive economic growth to create decent work for all [Goal 8] and reduce inequalities within and among countries [Goal 10]. Person with disabilities struggle to find or sustain employment. Through this platform, they will earn an income from the sale of their artworks, thereby building their independence to support themselves. JOURNEY aims to enable them to pursue their dreams and live lives with dignity.

Schedule & Commitment

Any days with at least 4 hours per day. Please indicate which day and the timing you are free when applying.

JOURNEY Booth Sales Assistant
Requirements:
  • 18 years old and above
  • Out going

Your primary role involves:

  • man the sales booth,
  • promote JOURNEY,
  • pack products sold.

   

A: Please wear comfortable t-shirts, pants/jeans and covered shoes.

A: Yes, volunteers will be guided by staff on the day of the event.
