Job Summary:
Achieve fundraising targets and build/maintain strategic partnerships that support TOUCH's mission in serving the community.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conceptualize, execute and manage fund-raising projects to meet department’s budget.
- Develop and prepare fund-raising proposals for corporate and school partnerships.
- Solicit sponsorships and manage fund-raising events with various stakeholders.
- Cultivate and manage relationship with existing and potential sponsors.
- Explore current and diverse fundraising channels & initiatives to build & manage pipelines for current/future donors.
- Undertake research on prospective corporate, trust and public donors.
- Help develop new fundraising products and events and market them.
- Cold call potential donors and build relationships with them.
- Ensure stewardship of donations / funding.
- Write reports for corporates / trusts / foundations on the use of existing grants/donations.
- Maintain and update donors’ records on a fundraising database.
- Write internal reports, analyzing fundraising progress on a monthly or periodic basis.
- Arrange fundraising events and tours of the charity’s projects for potential donors
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in fundraising/sales & marketing and organising events.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and writing skills.
- Able to work independently yet a team player who is able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Campaigns management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CRM is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skill.
- Ability to manage complete workload and deliver under tight timeline
