TOUCH Community Services (TOUCH) organised the TOUCH 25th Anniversary – A Charity Gala on 21 April 2017 at The Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore in celebration of its Silver Jubilee.
Graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister for Social and Family Development, the Charity Gala showcased mesmerising theatrical performances such as contemporary dance and drama segments intertwined with moving life stories related firsthand by beneficiaries of TOUCH.
Guests witnessed the highlight of the evening when beneficiaries of TOUCH entered the ballroom to personally present tokens to the table donors. Highly meaningful, this segment presented beneficiaries and donors the rare opportunity to meet each other face to face, and to appreciate one another. Many hearts were undoubtedly touched.
Besides the contributions of the table donors, the Charity Gala – truly a community effort – saw corporates and organisations banding together to partner TOUCH, contributing to the success of the event.
TOUCH 25thAnniversary – A Charity Gala raised some $800,000 in support of TOUCH’s work among at-risk youths, disadvantaged seniors, people with special needs and vulnerable families.
