We provide consultations for couples considering adoption of related children from China.
TOUCH Adoption is accredited by MSF to do placement of related children from China.
We provide briefings, adoption suitability assessments, China adoption placement and post placement services for families who want to adopt relatedchildren from China.
If you are adopting a related child from China, the adoption must first be completed in China before it can be done in Singapore. Our team will guide and facilitate the entire process to ensure a smooth journey for you.
To start your China related adoption process, applicants must obtain a favourable Adoption Suitability Assessment (ASA), which is designed to evaluate the readiness and suitability of parents adopting their related child from China. A favourable ASA is valid for two years and for one adoption only.
Before applying for the ASA, couples need to attend two compulsory adoption briefings:
After attending all necessary briefings, you may submit an application for the ASA with MSF over here.
After obtaining a favourable ASA, we will assist with the application to the China Centre for Children's Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA) and advise you on the process ahead.
If the ASA expires before securing the China adoption order, the applicants will have to secure a fresh report/extend the report/update the materials accordingly. Additional charges apply.
Please refer to the fees over here.
For more information, please email adoption@touch.org.sg.
To adopt a child from China, at least one applicant must be a Singapore citizen. The other applicant must be a Singapore Citizen (SC), Permanent Resident (PR), an Employment Pass (EP) holder, or a Long-Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) holder.
