A Place to Call Home: Living Independently with Support at MyHaven@Jurong West

MyHaven@Jurong West by TOUCH Community Services is part of ELP, an initiative by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and SG Enable.  

Sited in public rental flats, ELP helps adults with disabilities age in place by providing an ecosystem of care and social support that includes on-site services such as daily living and social skills coaching and community engagement.  

Aligned with TOUCH’s vision to build strong families, caring generations and enabled communities, MyHaven@Jurong West aims to enhance the quality of life of  persons with disabilities, while giving caregivers the assurance that their loved ones can continue to live well and independently in the community.   

Admission Critieria and Application

MyHaven@Jurong West serves persons with intellectual disability and/or autism. All interested applicants are required to submit an online Interest Form to SG Enable. Before submission of the Interest Form, please check your eligibility for ELP. More information on the programme, including the admission criteria and the Interest Form, can be found on SG Enable’s Enabling Guide.

You will be contacted by the relevant Service Provider for an assessment if you meet the admission criteria and be guided through the application process.

What to Expect

Each PwD will be allocated a two-room flat which will be shared with another PwD.  

All clients will receive the following support: 

  • Information, referral and coordination services 
  • Regular monitoring 
  • Basic home repairs 
  • Customised care plan  
  • Health support services  
  • Independent living skills training
  • Community events and activities  

Programme fees are means-tested while rent is charged according to HDB’s public rental rates, which are differentiated by location, income and household status. Clients will also have to pay for utilities and service and conservancy bills.

The Enabled Living Programme (ELP) and Home Support Programme (HSP) empower persons with disabilities to live independently in the community for as long as possible. Both programmes are an initiative by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and SG Enable under the Enabling Masterplan 2030.
