TOUCHpoint@Tampines 285 is a collaborative community hub designed to empower groups in the community through skills development, income opportunities, and caregiver support. Through the initiatives at the hub, residents can look forward to activities that encourage cohesiveness and resilience.

We aim to support the Tampines community by creating:

An environment that supports the development of a person’s overall wellness, social connectedness, and active participation in the community.
A welcoming and age-friendly community space that is inclusive for all people, all cultures and abilities, and encourages intergenerational interaction and bonding.
Opportunities for residents to fulfil their potential and contribute to the community in their own ways.

Who It's For

Tampines residents
Individuals who are caregivers of:
- (1) Individuals with disability, health conditions and/or mental health issues
- (2) Young children and teenagers
Youth
Individuals with skills and knowledge to share with the community

What You Can Expect

TOUCHpoint@Tampines 285 is set to become a vibrant hub for the community, designed to inspire connection, empowerment, and inclusivity. The hub will feature programmes and activities that promote:

Caregiver empowerment: Resources, workshops and support networks tailored to caregiving needs;
Skills development: Opportunities for lower-income individuals and/or individuals with special needs to learn new skills to earn an income;
Mental health and wellbeing for people across all life stages;
Community connection: Collaborate and co-create activities that encourage interaction and inclusivity among residents.

Carer Space

A dedicated space where caregivers can receive support, resources and attend programmes to support them in their caregiving journey.

Carer TORCH: One-to-one coaching that equips caregivers with practical coping strategies to better manage caregiving demands.
Carer Lighthouse: A two-month support programme where caregivers receive mutual encouragement and practical advice while pursuing their own aspirations.
Gerontech Education at Age+ Living Lab: A guided programme for caregivers to explore and try assistive devices that can enhance quality of life and support seniors to age well.

JOURNEY

JOURNEY is an award-winning Singapore brand under TOUCH Community Services that represents the creative talents of people with intellectual disabilities. Through this platform, the artworks of Special Artists are recognised and shared with a wider public as well as corporate bodies.

At TOUCHpoint@Tampines 285, JOURNEY runs inclusive programmes that empower residents through skills transfer, creative expression, and meaningful income opportunities.

JOURNEY RE:MAKE: A craft-based programme with structured sewing courses that equip participants with market-relevant skills and income opportunities.
JOURNEY ARTConnect: A safe, welcoming space for community artists with disabilities to create art with peers, be represented by JOURNEY, and gain opportunities to earn an income.

MIND Cove

Equips youths with effective mental health coping strategies to cope with emotional distress and educates their caregivers on how they can support the youths.
