Transform a Child’s Life Through the Power of Learning

Help Levon Reach Her Full Potential

For Levon, 5, growing up in a low income single-parent family meant facing challenges that many of her peers didn’t. She found learning difficult, struggling with alphabet recognition and falling behind academically. Without a strong foundation in English, even simple reading exercises felt overwhelming.

Through programmes like TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA), children like Levon can get access to the personalised guidance they need to thrive despite their families’ circumstances and gain an equal chance at education.

TYA volunteer, Cai Qi, recalls, “When Levon first joined, she couldn’t recognise the alphabet. Coming from a Chinese-speaking background, English was challenging for her. But at TYA, she has blossomed — she can now read and even explain storybooks with confidence.”

Today, Levon approaches learning with curiosity and excitement. Through values-driven activities, she has not only grown academically but also learned the importance of kindness and helping others. And with every step forward, she is moving closer to her dream of becoming a doctor — something that once felt so far away.

A little can go a long way as we band together to support those in need.

Whether they are children and youths chasing their dreams, families growing to be resilient, people with special and wellness needs receiving opportunities, caregivers in need of support, or the elderly living out their best years, everyone can be empowered and valued.
