TOUCH Care Line is a helpline for all caregiving-related matters.
Care Line is manned by our team of experienced care coordinators who are familiar with issues on the ground. Journeying with an average of 130 callers a month, the care coordinators go beyond information and referral services to discuss care options based on caregiver’s unique situation, lend a listening ear and work together with families to offer practical solutions.
Volunteers will be expected to attend a free recruitment and training programme over 2 half day sessions, and be attached to a Senior Care Coordinator for on-the-job training before deployment for 3-4 weeks.
Due to the vulnerable nature of the caregivers, prospective volunteers will undergo a 3-stage training programme before being deployed as independent Care Coordinators.
*Note: Volunteers will be assessed for suitability after the Introductory training. Volunteers not suitable will be advised on alternative volunteer roles with a better fit.
