TOUCHpoint@AMK 433, initiated and developed by TOUCH Community Services, is an accessible neighbourhood facility and a launch pad for residents to become resources to support ageing-in-place. Located strategically at Blk 433 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10, it is within 600m or a five to eight minute walk from the 32 blocks within the CEP precinct. Most parts of this activity node are accessible 24/7 and residents can initiate their interest-based activities, participate in exercise programs, attend health checks or learn skills.

The facility also runs Lien Foundation’s “Gym Tonic”, a customised strength-training programme for seniors, which can be used by seniors who are healthy as well as those who need rehabilitation. Architecturally, TOUCHpoint@AMK 433 will feature a ribbon of spaces extending from indoors to outdoors, with a continuous shelter that allows pockets of activities to co-exist. TOUCHpoint@AMK 433 is part of TOUCH’s Community Enablement Project to enable communities to age in place.

In 2019, TOUCHpoint@AMK 433 was recognised as having the best architecture design that integrates wellness to support living environments for older people at the 7th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards.

In line with TOUCH’s efforts to build enabled communities and with support from the Ministry Of Health, TOUCHpoint@AMK 433  transited to an Active Ageing Centre (AAC) in May 2021 to reach out to more seniors aged 60 and above. The AAC serves all seniors living within the neighbourhood, and as a go-to-point to receive timely access to quality care.
