With stay-home measures in place, Ang Mo Kio residents have found meaningful ways to occupy their time by pursuing hobbies like photography on virtual platforms. Last year, some 15 residents, including seniors, were coached by professional photographer, Mr Stanley Koh from Topixstudio Photography, over 10 weekly sessions as part of TOUCH’s community enablement efforts to connect and empower residents to age in place. Through Zoom sessions and WhatsApp group chats, residents can continue to learn from coach Stanley on how to take fun photos at home, and share them with friends and loved ones.
