The Silent Experience
Experience life in the shoes of a deaf individual through this reflective workshop that aims to bring awareness to the challenges they face on a daily basis. Participants will be given ear plugs and masks to be worn during the workshop.
In this session, participants* will also get an opportunity to pick up some basic Singapore Sign Language and learn more about how to better communicate with persons with hearing loss. Conducted in collaboration with a deaf trainer, together with deaf and/or hearing facilitator, participants can gain a deeper understanding of the daily challenges faced by persons with hearing loss, and how communities can better support and be more inclusive towards persons with hearing loss.

Min 8 participants are required to start the workshop. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Closing date for registration is Tues, 7 May 2024
